Bits and pieces
by Bonnie Pockley
A lot of exciting things are about to happen and this week has felt like the calm before the storm. It’s been a laid back, wandering week – a week of parks, playing in the school grounds, great coffee and parcel packages. My Lenni shorts arrived this morning – which I am oh-so-happy about; my place of work – Mockingbird Sing* – have ordered-in Kiboots and we scored the Complete Plays of Bernard Shaw at the op shop for next to nothing. Summer is in full swing and this weekend I’ll be off on my own at a workshop in Avoca with Linda Jackson. An Australian designer, Linda Jackson is most well known for her attitude towards repurposing clothing and is nothing short of inspiring. Coming up over the next month is a wedding I’m very excited about, a first birthday, our little trip to NZ and…oh yes, that thing called Christmas.
