The great difficulty when telling a story is how to begin. Of those thousands of moments and hundreds of platforms, which do you mark as the starting point – the axis – from which everything unfolded. What were the monuments and milestones? Maybe, instead, you look to the quiet space, the inconsequential within the day-to-day, the ordinary and the commonplace. Maybe, you just find chance and grace – a shared love of literature and a love letter well placed.
