Beyond the pines
by Bonnie Pockley
As we document our little adventures, I realise that we’re moving further and further afield. While we often take this path, today we strayed from it, wandering deep into the pine forest through thick grasses and a heavy mist. I love it out here. The cold bites at you but the natural beauty of the place is like a deep enchantment from an old fairy tale. Here, beyond the pines, an hour feels like a minute – we didn’t mean to go for very long and only realised on return that half the day had slipped away.
