Mamma’s rule of 15

There are so many bits of wisdom that I’ve picked up from other people in my life. As my grandmother used to say, there’s very little that a cup of tea can’t fix (she was English), there’s no point in regret, be impeccable with your word, love your pot plants, write thank-you letters and stick to the rule of 15. What’s that? To broaden the spectrum of nutrition gained from what you eat, try to incorporate at least 15 different plant based foods in your diet every day. Somehow this sounds better and more specific than saying, ‘Eat your veg.’
