I feel like there’s a seasonal richness to wintry weather. Pomegranates are everywhere and oversized coats, hats and scarves add a sumptuous contrast to an otherwise fairly desolate landscape. The grass, in agreement, plays to our side. Becoming lush and velvety – it cushions the endless communion between the stark asphalt and an overcast heavy sky. Today, I took it all in in 12 frames – what I couldn’t capture was that exquisite smell of open fires and the soft touch of late afternoon rain.
